CMP, a CAP Group company, has operations in the Atacama Region in the Huasco Valley and the Copiapo Valley, and in the Coquimbo Region in the Elqui Valley. CAP Mining’s operations in the Huasco Valley include the Pellets Plant, the Guacolda II Port, the Los Colorados Mine and the El Algarrobo Mine, which are all located near the cities of Huasco and Vallenar. Operations in the Copiapo Valley include the Magnetite Plant, the Punta Totoralillo Port and the Cerro Negro Norte Mine, all of which are close to the cities of Tierra Amarilla, Caldera, and Copiapo, respectively. Likewise, the CAP Infrastructure subsidiary operates in the Atacama Region. This business includes the water desalination company Cleanairtech Sudamerica S.A., the power transmission company Tecnocap S.A., and the Las Losas S.A. Port.
