Environmental Performance
The company protects the ecosystems existing in the places where it operates, in accordance with the environmental legislation currently in place and the agreements it has voluntarily subscribed.
Additionally, the company promotes the efficient use of energy through the implementation of actions and programs in each affiliate and the incorporation of clean energies in its operations.
At the same time, the company encourages the reuse and recycling of products, materials and by-products in an effort to find the best alternative use for them, thus reducing the generation of waste, the consumption of material resources and energy in the processes it pursues. Likewise, it develops environmental training and prevention programs for own workers and external collaborators.
Finally, it ratifies its commitment with efficient use of water, its recirculation and the discovery of new sources like desalination with the ultimate purpose of actively contributing to reduce climate change in Chile and in the world.
